Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of IDC is appointed in accordance with the Public Enterprises Act, 2023 to oversee the governance and activities of the Company.
The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Company and providing effective oversight in the best interests of IDC, its shareholder—the Government of Seychelles—and its stakeholders.
The Board of Directors of IDC is appointed in accordance with section 57 of the Public Enterprises Act, 2023, which provides for the appointment of the members of the Board, including the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, by the President in consultation with the relevant authorities.
The Board collectively oversees the governance and strategic direction of the Company. Its roles, responsibilities and authorities are governed principally by the Public Enterprises Act, 2023, particularly sections 60 to 62, together with IDC's Board Charter and its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction and effective oversight of the Company, ensuring sound corporate governance, risk management, financial stewardship and compliance with applicable laws and policies. In carrying out its responsibilities, the Board acts in the best interests of IDC and its shareholder, while having regard to the interests of the Company's stakeholders.

Patrick Berlouis was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for IDC in January 2017. Before joining IDC, he had a long and distinguished career in education, serving as the Head of the Independent School. His extensive background in education showcases his dedication and leadership skills, which he now brings to IDC. Berlouis's experience in managing educational institutions equips him well for guiding IDC towards achieving its goals and supporting its mission.

Glenny Savy joined IDC in 1982, the year after earning his BA with majors in Economics from Murdoch University in Australia.
Since then, he has actively participated in a wide range of projects in Seychelles, spanning agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and port operations. His diverse expertise has greatly contributed to the development of these sectors.

Christian Lionnet
CEO/Ex-officio
Christian Lionnet joined IDC as the new Deputy CEO in 2019. Prior to that, he spent 14 years of his professional career in the Ministry of Land and Housing which culminated in his appointment as Minister in 2012.
Mr. Lionnet has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK.
